Meister Seelig & Fein secured a significant victory in New York County Supreme Court on behalf of Secure Source Energy, 125 Broad CHP, LLC, and CS Solutions, Inc. In a Decision and Order issued by Justice Phaedra F. Perry-Bond, the Court granted defendants’ motion for summary judgment and dismissed the complaint.
The case arose from a dispute involving a contractor engaged by 125 Broad CHP, LLC in connection with installation of a combined heat and power energy co-generation facility on the roof of 125 Broad Street in lower Manhattan, a commercial condominium building with unit owners that include Sullivan & Cromwell and the American Civil Liberties Union.
Partner Howard S. Koh led the defense and served as lead counsel.
