Young Moore is pleased to announce that Christy C. Dunn has been named a shareholder of the firm, effective January 1, 2026.
Since joining Young Moore, Christy has built a distinguished practice focusing on civil litigation, insurance law, and employment law, representing insurance carriers, employers, electric membership corporations, and long-term care facilities in a broad range of complex matters.

Christy’s work includes handling insurance coverage and bad faith disputes, advising clients in employment and labor matters, and counseling organizations on risk prevention strategies. Her practical approach to litigation and client counseling has earned her recognition among her peers and within the legal community.
In addition to her legal practice, Christy is actively engaged in professional and community organizations. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA), Government Affairs Director of the Raleigh Metro Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and a Council Member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Insurance Law Section.

Christy earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Campbell Law School and her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to practicing law, she spent more than a decade in technical sales, providing a unique perspective she brings to her legal practice. She is recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America, named among the 2025 North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars, and listed in Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite.
