Nashville, Tenn., (December 2, 2025) – Bass, Berry & Sims is pleased to announce the addition of 15 new associates in Tennessee, including 13 in Nashville and two in Memphis.

Corporate & Securities

The following six associates join the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice where they counsel clients in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and securities regulations matters and filings. In addition, the attorneys represent private equity firms and portfolio companies in various transactions.

Amanda M. Alvarez (Nashville) earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University (2020).
Hayden T. Crosby (Nashville) earned a law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama (2021). During law school, Crosby served as a judicial intern for Justice Angela McCormick Bisig of the Kentucky Supreme Court.
Crystal J. Golden (Memphis) earned a law degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law (2025), and a Master of Business Administration (2020) and a Bachelor of Science (2010) from the University of Louisville, College of Business. Golden is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Listed Mediator, qualified to conduct court-ordered mediations in civil matters.
Lyle A. McMillan (Nashville) earned a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School (2025) and a Bachelor of Science from the University of North Carolina (2018).
Jane B. Morrison (Nashville) earned a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School (2025), a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Business (2025), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flager Business School (2019). Prior to attending law school, Morrison was a financial services consultant with Ernst & Young U.S. LLP in New York City.
Benjamin L. Reichard (Nashville) earned a law degree from Harvard Law School (2025), and a Master of Public Policy (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts (2019) from the University of Maryland. During law school, he served as a legal intern with the Minnesota Twins, Miami Dolphins, and DraftKings. Reichard has also served as chief of staff for a legislator in the Maryland General Assembly.

Healthcare

The following associate provides healthcare regulatory counsel as it relates to mergers and acquisitions, compliance and operational matters.

Andrew H. Weikert (Nashville) earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University (2022).

Intellectual Property

The following three associates join the firm's Intellectual Property & Technology Practice where they represent clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters involving the development, transfer and licensing of technology and IP. They help clients protect their IP assets, representing them in a variety of transactions, including advising on the IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, licensing and service agreements and strategic relationships.

Faheem S. Ali (Nashville) earned a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University (2022).
Paula Alvarez (Nashville) earned a law degree from the University of North Carolina (2025) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University (2022). During law school, she worked as an extern for Aston Martin and with the North Carolina Supreme Court. While at Belmont, Alvarez was an intern at the Ealing Law Centre (London), Caterpillar Financial and the U.S. Department of Commerce-U.S. Commercial Service.
Alessandro R. Colangelo (Nashville) earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University (2021). During law school, Colangelo worked as a law clerk at a local Nashville law firm and as a research assistant for professors Harold See and Lucian Dervan.

Litigation

The following two associates join the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice where they represent clients in complex business litigation, as well as assist clients in response to government investigations and related civil and criminal proceedings.

Andrés Martinez (Nashville) earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law (2025), a Master of Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance (Berlin, Germany) (2015), and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin (2011). During law school he served as a judicial intern at the Davidson County Chancery Court Part III. Prior to attending law school, Martinez served as the director of policy and communications at Conexión Américas.
Benjamin C. Peterson (Nashville) earned a law degree from Belmont University College of Law (2025), a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Michigan (2016), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina (2008). During law school, Peterson served as a law clerk at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Real Estate & Debt Finance

The following three associates assist clients with commercial real estate transactions and debt finance matters and also collaborate with the firm's Corporate & Securities Practice on corporate transactions.

Leslie Anne Bass (Memphis) earned a law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi, Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College (2021).
Taylor Roswall (Nashville) earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law (2025), a Master of Science from the University of Maryland (2021), and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (2017). Prior to attending law school, Roswall advised agricultural producers throughout the Chesapeake Bay region and started an ecological restoration company.
Zoe Storck-Smith (Nashville) earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee Winston College of Law (2025) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi (2022).
