PLMJ advised Impresa on an investment agreement with MFE (MediaForEurope), an Italian group. Under the terms of the agreement, MFE now holds a 32.934% stake in SIC's owner. The Balsemão family retains control of the group through the holding company Impreger, with a 33.738% stake.
Completion of the transaction is subject to necessary regulatory approvals, as well as confirmation by Impresa's creditor banks.
