Our newest associates in Bermuda have been admitted the Bermuda Bar - Kaleb Phillips and Chrysda Smith.
Kaleb and Chrysda joined the firm for the 12-month pupillage programme where they spent six months with our Corporate, Finance, Funds, Insurance and Insolvency & Dispute Resolution teams.
Kaleb Phillips has joined our Corporate team, bringing with him a strong academic foundation with a background in the arts. After schooling at the University of York, Kaleb continued his legal training at the University of Law, where he completed both the Legal Practice Course and a Master of Science in Law, Business and Management. His varied background includes a Bachelor of Music with Honours, and he maintains an active interest in the arts as a member of the London Lawyers' Symphony Orchestra.
'Nobody achieves anything alone,' Kaleb shares. 'I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has helped me reach this milestone and for their unwavering support that has grounded me through every challenge.'
Chrysda Smith enters our Regulatory team and was admitted following the successful completion of her Bar Practice Course and a Master of Laws (LLM), both conferred with distinction from the University of Law. She also obtained a Criminology degree from York University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was named to the Dean's Circle of Student Scholars.
'I am both thrilled and humbled to be joining the legal fraternity in Bermuda,' Chrysda expressed. 'I am eager to become a member of a community of forward-thinking individuals who are trailblazers in law.'
