PHILADELPHIA (October 2025) - Buchanan attorney Jason Bologna convinced a Bucks County jury to acquit his client, the former CEO of multiple Pennsylvania medical practices, of all charges on Friday, October 17, 2025.
The case involved five felony charges that the CEO stole approximately $250,000 of corporate funds over a multiyear period. "My client spent 17 years building up these businesses, and he was fired by a letter delivered to his front door the day after Christmas," Bologna noted. That firing led to civil litigation between the CEO and doctors, which was paused when criminal charges were filed on October 30, 2023. "The trial judge in the criminal matter ordered the prosecution to give us additional discovery which was essential to winning this case. It showed the criminal investigation and charges were used by the doctors as leverage in their civil matter. The jury saw how the doctors told law enforcement one story, but in fact, their private emails, text messages, and corporate documents told an entirely different story." Bologna concluded "my client, his family, and I are all incredibly grateful for the judge's fairness and the jury's wisdom in seeing the truth of what really happened here."
