Taft partner Bill Edwards delivered remarks and a welcome address during Wittenberg University's presidential inauguration ceremony. Edwards, who serves as chair of the university's Board of Directors and is a 1989 graduate, spoke at the event installing Dr. Christian M. M. Brady as Wittenberg's 16th president. The ceremony was held on Oct. 17 in Wittenberg's Weaver Chapel. In his remarks, Edwards expressed gratitude to the campus and surrounding community and shared his confidence in the board's decision to appoint Dr. Brady as the university's next leader.

Edwards is a partner in Taft's Employment and Labor Relations practice. He routinely represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship. Edwards has extensive experience representing employers in matters ranging from EEOC collective action litigation to single-plaintiff wrongful termination claims. Edwards has also served as an outside investigator for multiple clients confronting internal complaints of discrimination. Prior to joining Taft, he served as the Employment and Labor practice group leader at a well-known regional law firm in Cleveland.
