Event of the International Bar Association's Law Firm Management Committee will discuss the future of law firms, focusing on innovation and talent attraction
KLA will be present at the Latin America Conference organized by the International Bar Association (IBA) Law Firm Management Committee, in São Paulo. The event, themed "Building the Law Firm of the Future", will take place this Monday (8) and Tuesday (9) at the Renaissance Hotel in São Paulo.
KLA will be represented at the conference by partner Karin Alvo, from the Corporate Law, Private Equity and Venture Capital practices, who is also a member of KLA's Executive Committee.
The IBA conference will bring together lawyers and partners to reflect on the future of law firms, emphasizing that this future goes beyond artificial intelligence or large global firms.
The debates will focus on innovation, the attraction and retention of talent, as well as law firm profitability and a deeper understanding of clients' needs.
Roundtables will include topics such as "The rise and reinvention of Latin American law firms: a 25-year retrospective"; and "From rainmakers to brand builders: rethinking business development in law firms".
