A&O Shearman has advised Farma Wiatrowa Annopol sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of OX2 AB, on the successful financing provided by Powszechna Kasa Oszczednosci Bank Polski S.A.

The project, with an estimated value of more than EUR80 million, involves the development of a 40MW wind farm consisting of ten turbines in the Gościeradów commune, marking a significant step forward in advancing Poland’s shift towards renewable energy sources.

The firm’s cross-border team provided end-to-end legal support, covering all aspects of the financing process and the negotiation of a long-term corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) integral to the project’s bankability.

The transaction was led by Kamil Jankielewicz, counsel, and Anna Pawelec, senior associate, with key contributions from Antoni Roszkowski, and Jana Marsalkova, senior associates and,Rafał Róziecki, associate.
