Davis Malm announces that shareholder Gary S. Matsko and associate Pamela N. Fourtounis were recognized by ALM | Law.com’s New England Legal Awards (NELA). Mr. Matsko was selected as a Lifetime Achievement recipient, which honors lawyers who have left a lasting imprint on the legal community in New England. Ms. Fourtounis was named a finalist in the Most Promising Newcomer category, which features lawyers practicing for three or fewer years who have made a major impact on their businesses, demonstrating the qualities necessary for them to quickly climb the career ladder. Gary and Pamela will be recognized at an awards ceremony on October 23 at The Westin Copley Place in Boston.

Gary is a trial attorney, representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation and before regulatory agencies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission. He represents parties in actions throughout New England, in several U.S. federal courts and in arbitration proceedings. Gary has litigated cases involving claims arising from business sales and acquisitions, securities claims, employment disputes, shareholder disputes, environmental matters, and other business matters.
Pamela’s practice focuses on land use issues, including zoning, permitting, and easements. She represents business and real estate disputes in Massachusetts state and federal courts. Prior to her role at Davis Malm, Pamela served as a judicial intern and law clerk to the Honorable Howard P. Speicher at the Massachusetts Land Court, where she refined her ability to draft complicated legal memoranda involving statutes, regulations, and case law.
