On September 9, Davis Malm shareholder Robert J. Munnelly, Jr. served as a moderator at the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association’s (NECA) first-ever Retail Markets Conference. The event featured in-depth discussions on trending industry topics and new opportunities affecting retail suppliers and brokers, their business partners, and consumers across the Northeast and beyond. As Co-Chair of the NECA Retail Markets committee, Rob also helped organize the Conference.
Rob moderated the panel, “Supplying More Than Just the kWh – How Retail Suppliers are Meeting the Unique Needs of Their Customers,” which covered evolving new business opportunities for retailers in areas such as electric vehicle partnerships; community solar development; and renewable energy certificate and compliance programs. He was joined by panelists Lynda Freshman, Chief Legal Officer of Perch Energy; Marco Ortega, Sustainability and Renewable Solutions Senior Advisor of Engie North America; and Stephanie Roy, eMobility Program Manager of Constellation.

Rob has been an active participant in NECA events and conferences since 2001. He is currently a member of NECA’s Board of Directors, serves as Co-Chair of the Retail Markets Committee and serves on the Executive Committee as Corporate Secretary.
