Carey Olsen Singapore partners James Noble and Helen Wang and Hong Kong partners Tim Haynes and Matthew Watson have been featured in the Asian Legal Business ("ALB") Asia Top Offshore Litigators list for 2025.

The list identifies exceptional litigation practitioners who have demonstrated outstanding expertise when handling complex cross-border disputes in Asia.

James Noble leads the firm's litigation, insolvency and restructuring in Asia and has been recognised in the Asia Top Offshore Litigators list for five consecutive years. James is a specialist in complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and is the only Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands ("BVI") admitted (and Bermuda registered) litigator in Singapore, regularly acting in market-leading cases. He is ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global and recognised as a Leading Partner by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, where he has been described as "quite simply the best of the best".

Helen Wang is a partner in the litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in the firm's Singapore office, specialising in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and insolvency matters. Helen has been recognised by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific as a Next Generation Partner, where she has been commended for her "unparalleled ability to understand the Chinese business landscape". She has also featured as a Rising Star in China Business Law Journal's 2023-2024 A-List and was named in ALB's Super 50 Disputes Lawyers list and Offshore Client Choice list for 2025 and 2024. This is the third consecutive year Helen has starred in the Asia Top Offshore Litigators list.

Tim Haynes is head of Carey Olsen's disputes practice in Hong Kong and has over twenty-seven years' experience representing a wide range of Asia Pacific-based clients in all aspects of commercial dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring mandates. He has the longest professional connection with Asia of the offshore litigators based in the region, having previously been a Hong Kong solicitor and barrister. He is ranked in Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global, where he is referred to as "a super experienced practitioner, balancing technical excellence against sage commercial advice about whether a particular suit or application is worthwhile", and has been described in Legal 500 as "undoubtedly the best offshore disputes partner in Hong Kong".

Named in the list for the second consecutive year, Matthew Watson is a partner in the firm's Hong Kong dispute resolution and litigation practice. Highly regarded for his expertise in Bermuda law and described in Chambers as "brilliant, on top of all the moving parts with very clear communication", Matthew acts in high stakes complex commercial, corporate, trust and estate litigation and in insolvency and restructuring contexts. Matthew recently appeared in the Privy Council in two landmark judgments handed down on 24 July 2025 in Jardine Strategic Limited v Oasis Investments II Master Fund Ltd and others concerning the standing of shareholders in fair value appraisal actions, and a widely publicised decision on privilege in the company/shareholder context.
