Carey Olsen is pleased to announce that partner Jeremy Lightfoot has relocated to the firm's Jersey office, bringing with him almost two decades of experience in successfully representing parties in complex, high-value and cross-jurisdiction litigation, insolvency and restructuring matters.
Jeremy is a partner of Carey Olsen Group and previously led the firm's dispute resolution offering in Hong Kong SAR, where he oversaw the expansion and transformation of the practice into one of the leading offshore practices in Hong Kong and was named as one of the Top 10 Offshore Litigators in Asia by Asian Legal Business for four consecutive years.
Prior to moving offshore, Jeremy spent a decade practicing as a barrister at a leading London chambers. Clients and industry peers compliment Jeremy as an "intellectual heavyweight" (Legal 500), an "excellent strategist with first rate client handling skills" (Legal 500 Asia-Pacific), and note that he "is widely regarded for his sharp intellect and cherished by clients for his sophisticated charm" (Asian Legal Business).
