Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer advised Schmidt Groupe, french leader in custom interior design, as part of the acquisition of a majority stake in Cubro Design, a pioneering spanish company specializing in the manufacture of custom kitchen fronts for online sale.
Schmidt Groupe is the leading french manufacturer of custom solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors. The group operates under two main brands (Schmidt and Cuisinella) and employs over 1,900 people. Schmidt Groupe has developed a distribution network in 22 countries and continues its geographic expansion by strengthening its presence in attractive markets.
This strategic operation allows Schmidt Groupe to diversify its
product offering and strengthen its presence in the european
market.
