The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Katherine Baudistel to its 2025 list of Leaders of Influence: Private Equity, Investors & Advisors. The annual honor recognizes professionals in the Los Angeles region “who make a significant impact in the private equity space.”
Based in the firm’s Santa Monica office, Katherine is partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. She represents both strategic and private equity clients in structuring, negotiating and documenting a wide array of transactions, with a primary focus on private M&A. Katherine’s clients span across a range of industry sectors, including technology, software, e-commerce, consumer and retail, healthcare, and financial services.
Los Angeles Business Journal noted Katherine’s integral role in helping Goodwin’s Santa Monica office expand from a small team of lawyers to nearly 120 legal professionals today.
In addition to her practice, Katherine is a member of Goodwin’s Pro Bono Committee, serves as the Hiring Partner for Goodwin’s Santa Monica office, and is co-chair of the firm’s Private Equity M&A Training Committee. She is also one of the leaders of Goodwin’s Women’s Health & Wellness Initiative, which is an integrated, cross-functional team of experts that advises clients across a variety of industries with respect to women’s health and wellness.
