Young Moore is pleased to welcome Andrew Medlin to the firm's 2025 Summer Clerk Program. Andrew joins Marianna Barrett and Timothy Greene as the third member of this year's cohort. The program offers law students meaningful exposure to the firm's day-to-day work across all practice areas while helping them build the skills needed to thrive in the legal profession.
Andrew is a rising 2L at Elon University School of Law, where he is a student mentor, Justice for Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and Advocacy Fellow. He earned dual B.A. degrees in Global Studies and Political Science, both with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, he helped reestablish the Global Studies Student Association, serving as its Treasurer.
Andrew brings valuable experience from his time as a law clerk at a 40-attorney firm in Charlotte, NC where he supported attorneys across a range of practice areas, including environmental law, civil litigation, and real estate. He has conducted legal research, filed court documents, prepared attorneys for trial, and managed client communications.
Andrew is also passionate about storytelling and policy. He co-wrote and produced several episodes of The Creative Process podcast, featuring interviews with prominent artists and authors. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, learning about NC wildlife, and club volleyball..
