This is the second consecutive year both Sandy and Tony have been recognized after being featured in the inaugural list in 2024.
Sandy serves as Chair of Proskauer's Entertainment, Copyright & Media Group and is a well-known entertainment industry litigator with over 37 years of success. She represents the industry's most iconic names in music with recording, publishing, licensing and management contracts, copyright and trademark infringement claims, unfair competition claims and the rights of privacy and publicity. A fierce advocate, Sandy defends her clients in high-profile legal battles while also negotiating pre-litigation and pre-trial resolutions of highly confidential personal and entertainment-related disputes. Her accomplishments include major victories for recording artists, songwriters, record companies and music publishers in a wide variety of litigation and transactional matters. Sandy also serves as the National Legal Counsel for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and has long served as an Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Academy's Board of Trustees, as well as on the Board of Directors of the GRAMMY Museum's Entertainment Law Initiative.
Tony is co-chair emeritus of Proskauer's Labor & Employment Law Department and serves as Head of the Firm's West Coast Labor & Employment Group. For decades, he has been the go-to employment litigator and counselor for A-list entertainment clients, representing employers nationwide in all aspects of labor relations and employment law. Tony maintains strong relationships with Hollywood's biggest stars, entertainment production and media companies and consistently scores victories and sets precedents that leave a direct and lasting impact on the industry while resolving cutting-edge employment law issues in and beyond California.
