On April 30, 2025, SSEK Law Firm and Withers KhattarWong hosted a hybrid seminar titled Understanding the Impact of U.S. Tariffs on Indonesia and Singapore. The event brought together experts to discuss the implications of recently announced or anticipated U.S. tariffs on businesses operating in Southeast Asia.

Held at SSEK's office in Jakarta and streamed online, the session featured insights from Dewi Savitri Reni and Mahareksha Singh Dillon, partners at SSEK, and Pardeep Khosa, partner at Withers KhattarWong in Singapore.

The speakers examined the legal, regulatory, and commercial impacts of the evolving U.S. trade measures and offered practical guidance for companies navigating cross-border risks.

Attendees – both in person and online – gained valuable perspectives on potential trade responses from Indonesia and Singapore, and strategies for mitigating legal and operational risks in a shifting geopolitical landscape.

We thank all participants for joining us and look forward to continuing the conversation on key developments affecting international trade and investment in the region.
