Goodwin today announced that Michael Amalfe has joined the firm's Private Equity practice, as a partner in the New York office.

Michael specializes in representing private equity sponsors, private companies and public companies in a wide variety of complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, minority and joint venture investments, leveraged buyouts, equity financings, carve-outs and divestitures. Michael also advises clients with respect to general corporate and governance matters. He is particularly focused on the middle market private equity space and leverages his strong network to build long-lasting client relationships.
Michael's addition follows the firm's recent hire of private equity partner Patrick Sandor who joined the San Francisco office earlier this month.
