Foley Hoag has been recognized in the Boston Business Journal (BBJ)'s inaugural Inclusivity Index, which honors companies in the Greater Boston area that are leading the way in building more inclusive and equitable workplaces.
This index series is comprised of two lists: Large Companies (500 and over total employees), and Small & Midsize Companies (under 500 employees). Categorized as a large company, Foley Hoag is the only law firm to appear on either list. Information was obtained from Massachusetts-headquartered companies.
In launching its Inclusivity Index, the BBJ is providing a data-driven, transparent view of how the region's employers are addressing inclusion in the workplace. The BBJ developed the Index to spotlight leadership, accountability and progress in creating more inclusive professional environments.
The Index assesses the intentions and tangible steps companies are taking to foster equity and representation at all levels. By gathering detailed submissions from participating companies, it offers insights into workforce demographics, inclusive hiring practices and community engagement.
