CSB Group commenced February with its highly anticipated Annual Company Updates, an occasion dedicated to celebrating the successes of 2024 and unveiling the ambitious vision for the year ahead across its main business areas, including Corporate & Trust, Accounting, Tax, Regulated Financial Services, Fintech, iGaming, Investment Migration, Relocation, and Yachting.

The day began with a solemn mass, providing a moment of reflection and gratitude before the event's proceedings. This was followed by a light breakfast, where team members gathered over a selection of pastries and refreshments, setting a positive and engaging tone for the day.

Group CEO Michael J. Zammit opened the event with an inspiring address, recognising the dedication and perseverance of every team member at CSB Group and its associated brands, including Regus Malta and Malta Sotheby's International Realty while celebrating the Group's remarkable growth in 2024. With a firm focus on the future, he unveiled ambitious strategies for 2025, emphasising that success alone is not the goal, but rather a commitment to leadership, inspiration, and transformation. As he powerfully stated, "In 2025, we don't just aim to succeed – we aim to lead, inspire, and transform."

Finance and Operations Director, Jean-Claude Cardona followed, to present a Financial Results & Operations Overview, highlighting CSB Group's strong financial performance, key milestones, and strategies for long-term expansion and operational efficiency.

The agenda continued with an insightful presentation put together by Roger A. Strickland Jr, on nurturing customer relationships, reinforcing the Group's dedication to elevating client satisfaction and strengthening long-term partnerships.

Senior Manager – HR Sarah Scerri, continued with a Human Resources Overview that delivered key updates on employee engagement, professional development initiatives, and the company's ongoing efforts to foster a dynamic and supportive workplace culture.

Next, Sharon Grima, Group Senior Manager – Marketing, took the stage to present the Marketing Performance Review & Initiatives for 2024/2025. She provided an in-depth analysis of CSB Group's marketing achievements over the past year, highlighting key successes in brand positioning, digital engagement, and strategic campaigns. Looking ahead, she outlined initiatives designed to further enhance the Group's visibility and strengthen its presence across key markets.

To conclude the presentation agenda, Michael and Jean-Claude hosted an interactive session titled 'The Optimal Mindset for Success', where all team members were engaged to share their thoughts via poll or by joining the discussion in person.

This open dialogue provided employees with the opportunity to share their insights, ideas, and perspectives, ensuring that every voice within CSB Group is heard and valued.

The event wrapped up by celebrating employee achievements and announcement of the CSB Group Star Award winners and Long Service Award holders, acknowledging exceptional performance, dedication and loyalty.

The Rising Star Awards were awarded to Matthew Farrugia, Client Accounting Team Leader, Malcolm Manara, Tax & Business Development Manager and Kylie Fiteni, Corporate Service Executive.

The Shining Star Awards were awarded to Dylan Spiteri, HR Officer, Bjorn Vassallo, Senior Accountant and Luana Briffa, Corporate Services Officer.

Furthermore, Sandra Agius, Corporate Services Associate, Jacqueline Micallef, Credit Controller, Adam Balakrishnan, Business Development Officer, and John Tabone, Dispatch Rider and Company Messenger, were recognised with the prestigious Supporting Star Award.

The Star Team Award, that recognises outstanding performance of a specific unit within the group, was awarded to the Marketing Team comprising Sharon Grima, Group Senior Manager – Marketing, Lara Zerafa, Manager - Marketing and Thereseanne Sammut, Marketing Executive.

Several team members were also recognised for their significant contributions in 2024, particularly in driving an important corporate services software upgrade to success. Honourees included Keith Kerr, Senior Manager – IT & New Projects, Anne Marie Caruana, Senior Manager – Finance, Michael Parlato Trigona, Head of Compliance, Timothy Hampton, Senior Manager – Corporate Services, Paulina Zolnik, Assistant Manager – Client Accounting, Patricia Deguara, Team Leader – Group Finance, and Ian Bray, Senior Accountant – Projects Lead.

Long Service Awards were presented to a remarkable number of team members , including Sacha J. Farrugia, Director & Senior Manager – Business Development, Sharon Gauci Maistre, Finance Assistant, Maria Galea, Housekeeper, and John Tabone, Dispatch Rider and Company Messenger, were honoured for their impressive 15-year commitment. Dr Franklin Cachia, Director & Lead Consultant, Timothy Hampton, Senior Manager – Corporate Services, Caroline Chetcuti, Office Administration Manager, Paulina Zolnik, Assistant Manager – Client Accounting, Luisa Rizza, Team Leader – Corporate Services, Krista Mallia, Payroll Team Leader, Katia Caffari, Senior Accounts Executive, each celebrated a commendable 5-year tenure.
