Appleby is pleased to announce that Will Porter, an Associate from the Dispute Resolution team in Appleby’s Cayman Islands office is seconded to the Hong Kong office for a period of two months starting February 2025.
Will Porter is a highly experienced lawyer with expertise in insolvency, directors’ duties, shareholder and fund disputes, trusts dispute and high value contractual claims. Before joining Appleby, he practiced as a junior barrister at one of New Zealand’s leading commercial barristers’ chambers. Will is also admitted as an attorney in New York State, a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand and as a legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
During his secondment, Will collaborates closely with the Hong Kong team on various high-profile cases, further enhancing the firm’s commitment to deliver exceptional legal services to its clients in the region.
