We assisted our client in disposing of controlling interests and recapitalising a European lifestyle hotel portfolio. This portfolio includes the Hoxton Lloyd Amsterdam, the Hoxton Rome, and Mama Shelter Prague, with two additional hotels scheduled to open in 2025.
The recapitalisation was led by Cedar Capital Partners and Ares Management Real Estate Secondaries Fund. The portfolio consists of 566 rooms across the five hotels. The transaction highlights the growing importance of hotel real estate as a key investment focus and aligns with the growing trend of experiential travel across Europe.
