MUNICH, February 29, 2016 – The international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has advised Ardian, an independent private investment company, on the acquisition of d&b audiotechnik GmbH "d&b". Together with the existing management, Ardian is acquiring d&b from the investment companies Odewald & Compagnie and COBEPA.
d&b is one of the world's leading providers of professional premium audio technology and produces high-quality sound systems for mobile and permanently installed applications. In the financial year 2015 d&b made sales of 94 million euros with 350 employees and is now active in more than 70 countries.
The agreement is still subject to clearance by the relevant antitrust authorities.
A Milbank team led by Norbert Rieger comprehensively advised Ardian on corporate, finance, tax and antitrust law related to the transaction.
