Acted as Cayman Islands counsel to CK Hutchison International (24) (II) Limited (the "Issuer") on its issue of US$500 million notes due 2030 and US$500 million notes due 2034, which closed on 13 September 2024. The notes are guaranteed by CK Hutchison Holdings Limited (the "Guarantor") and are listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The Maples team was led by partner Derrick Kan. The Issuer and the Guarantor were also represented by Davis Polk & Wardwell as to US law, and the initial purchasers were represented by Clifford Chance as to US law.
