Paris, 10 October, 2024 – Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) announces the establishment of new offerings in itsFrench arm. The launch of A&M's Financial Services Industry offering brings together specialists in corporate finance,capital marketsand financial institutions.
Along with the growth of its Sovereign Advisory and Debt Advisory lines, the strategic expansion points to evolving demand for A&M's expertise. The news comes as the firm makes more than 20 senior appointments in Paris, having recorded a more than 25% jump in total headcount over the past year.
A&M's range of new hires in Paris:
- Sebastien Declercq stands up the Financial Services Industry practice, with fellow Managing Directors Emmanuel Cresseveur, Arthur Grammaticopoulos and Pierre Grellier leading a team of 20 professionals to support ongoing transformations in the market – as well as advising on M&A operations in the banking and insurance sectors
- Mark Wyatt heads up Corporate Finance in France, to deliver conflict-free serviceon mid-market deals of €30 million enterprise value and above. A leading specialist on M&A in sports business, he brings ateam ofsectorexperts, including Pierre-Marie Blois, Sandra Crochemore, Thomas Gelinet, Adrien Morel, Armand Saillour and Hubert Tuillier
- Thibaud Fourcade brings 20 years of investment banking experience to build the local footprint of A&M's Sovereign Advisory Services practice,engaging with sovereign clients, including governments, central banks, state-owned enterprises and multilateral development banks
- Charles Suet develops the firm's Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory offering, part of its Global Transaction Advisory practice
- Benoit Voyer expands the French Debt Advisory unit established by Virginie Gasnier
