We have advised European real estate developer and asset manager Edge in the transaction for Cross Towers, a 23-story office building centrally located at the Amsterdam South-Axis. The 29,500-square-meter building currently serves as the Amsterdam office for global consultancy firm EY, the main tenant.
This acquisition marks a pivotal moment for Edge as they continue to advance their growth and sustainability goals. Aligning with its 'brown-to-green' strategy, Edge plans to transform Cross Towers into a sustainable, energy-efficient property. The retrofit aims to reduce environmental impact and create a healthy workspace that appeals to environmentally conscious tenants and investors, addressing the growing demand for green buildings in the market.
Our multidisciplinary Real Estate sector team, consisting of lawyers, tax advisers and civil law notaries, assisted Edge on this transaction.
