Gabi Sanchez has been appointed Chair of the LeadingAge Legal Committee. The Legal Committee represents the interests of LeadingAge and LeadingAge's state affiliate associations in a variety of practice areas along the aging services continuum. Sanchez will be providing technical assistance and policy guidance on legal issues affecting the provision of aging services, including LeadingAge member litigation updates, tax developments, nursing home survey and certification issues, disability/age/race discrimination, fraud and abuse, labor and employment law, senior housing cases, and CCRC issues. She has been a member of LeadingAge's Legal Committee since 2019.
LeadingAge is a community of over 5,000 nonprofit aging services providers and other organizations serving older adults in states around the country. Their mission is to be "The Trusted Voice of Aging" by providing compassionate, high-quality programs and services to the nation's growing older population.
