Schoenherr has advised Lufthansa on the sale of its stake in Silver Wings Bulgaria OOD, a joint venture catering business in Bulgaria, to Truffle UK Bidco Three Limited, an active private limited company in the UK.
Schoenherr acted as local counsel alongside Herbert Smith Freehills LLP Frankfurt, advising on the Bulgarian aspects of the transaction.
The firm's legal services included advising on all relevant Bulgarian law aspects of the transaction, including drafting documents governed by Bulgarian law and carrying out the sale on a local level, as well as representing Lufthansa and the local partners in the joint venture before the relevant Bulgarian bodies.
