Mintz is pleased to announce that Gideon's Promise has awarded Litigation Member Barry Bohrer with the 2023 Ian Yankwitt Equalizer Award for his public defense services. Gideon's Promise is a nonprofit public defender organization whose mission is to transform the criminal justice system by building a movement of public defenders who provide equal justice for marginalized communities.
Barry is a nationally recognized, Band One Chambers-ranked litigator with extensive experience handling white collar criminal cases and complex civil matters. He has successfully defended prominent corporations, financial institutions, political figures, corporate executives, professionals, and leading law firms in a wide variety of high-profile and complex cases, jury trials, regulatory actions, and investigations. Barry also has an active trial and appellate practice.
