FisherBroyles, LLP is pleased to announce Anthony E. Davis has joined the Firm as a Partner. He joins from Clyde & Co US LLP, where he was Of Counsel.
Anthony joins the Firm's Corporate Department and its Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility Practice, where he will draw on his extensive experience to advise clients on matters concerning professional responsibility, risk management, and every aspect of the law governing lawyers.
Anthony is an industry leader in the field of legal ethics and professional responsibility. He frequently presents on the topic to various organizations including: the American Bar Association ("ABA"), the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility, the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, and the New York State and New York City Bar Associations.
He has authored several widely-referenced articles, papers, and foundational books, including:
- 'Risk Management: Survival Tools for Law Firms', co-authored with Katie M. Lachter;
- 'The Essential Formbook; Comprehensive Management Tools for Lawyers', co-authored with Gary Munneke;
- 'Reforming Lawyer Mobility – Protecting Turf or Serving Clients', co-authored with James W. Jones, Simon Chester, and Caroline Hart; and
- 'Increasing Profitability by Improving Client Intake', published within, 'The Mechanics of Law Firm Profitability: People, Process, and Technology', co-authored with Wendy Wen Yun Chang.
Anthony is regularly interviewed by, and provides content for, various media publications about legal ethics, law firm risk management, and the law governing lawyers – and authors the bi-monthly 'Professional Responsibility' column in the New York Law Journal.
Anthony also shares his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of lawyers via his role as Lecturer-in-Law at Columbia University School of Law, where he teaches, 'Professional Responsibility Issues in Business Practice.'

Anthony is admitted in New York and Colorado and is a solicitor and barrister in England and Wales (both non practicing).
He received his B.A. from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Laws degree in Criminal Justice from New York University School of Law.
