Gaelyn Scott, Head of Intellectual Property at ENSafrica, has been honoured with the prestigious South Africa Practitioner of the Year award at the 18th annual Managing IP Awards ceremony held on 21 June in London. This accolade further amplifies her recent recognition as one of the top 250 women in IP by Managing IP in May this year.

The Managing IP Awards are presented to firms, individuals and companies behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year, as well as those driving the international IP market. Gaelyn's win demonstrates her exceptional contribution to the IP field and positions her as a preeminent practitioner within the industry. It is also a testament to Gaelyn's remarkable accomplishments and significant contribution to the firm and its profile, both locally and internationally.

In addition, ENSafrica's Commercial IP team, led by Waldo Steyn, has been named South Africa IP Transactions & Advisory Firm of the Year. This is in recognition of the team's focus on IP assets as a key driver of value creation for our clients and the team's close collaboration with a wide range of practice areas in the firm to ensure that IP is recognised as a potentially key feature of a wide range of transactions and projects.

"A world-class IP team with a real African footprint, providing business savvy expertise in a cost-effective manner"
