Brisbane-based law firm, Cooper Grace Ward is delighted to announce that five lawyers are taking the next step in their career as they are promoted into new positions.

The firm has promoted Bridget Camilleri, Michael Donnelly and Steven Jell to special counsel, while also promoting Jess Byrne as the firm's newest senior associate and Megan Cheng to associate.

Bridget assists clients in disputes involving large-scale corporate fraud, contractual liabilities, breaches of fiduciary duties, retail leasing, joint ventures and insolvency.

Michael specialises in large-scale property acquisitions and disposals, property development, technical property advice work and commercial leasing.

Steven provides clients with estate planning, self-managed superannuation, asset protection, structuring and succession planning advice, as well as broader transaction-based commercial legal services.

Jess works in our insurance team and frequently prepares advices in relation to liability and quantum issues. She also has experience in advising on statutory threshold issues under the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 and indemnity issues generally.

Finally, as the newest associate in Cooper Grace Ward's workplace relations and safety team, Megan advises employers on all aspects of employment law, including dismissal risks and strategies, performance management, underpayment claims, modern award compliance and workplace investigations.
