Slovak News - Oct 96 - Law On Protection Of Consumers

Slovakia International Law
The amendment is to unify the responsibilities of all members of a distribution chain (i. e. seller, producer, supplier and importer) on the same level when making conditions to maintain the quality of goods, marking products with data about volume, quality, date of production and consumption.

Likewise, it should give solutions regarding the problems of returnable packages, determining the time limit for responding to complaints (30 days) and to introduce a duty for the seller to provide the customer with a receipt on purchase.

This amendment is to be discussed shortly.
