Central Electricity Regulatory Commission ("CERC") has issued a draft regulation, dated October 31, 2019, for sharing inter-state transmission charges and losses. The regulation will come into effect from the date that will be separately notified by the CERC and will apply to all the designated inter-state transmission system customers, inter-state transmission licensees, load dispatch centres at national, regional and state level and regional power committees. The calculation of the share of transmission charges for each designated ISTS customers will be based on the information procured by the implementing agencies by the designated inter-state transmission system customers, inter-state transmission licensees, load dispatch centres at national, regional and state level and regional power committees.
