Japan Immigration

Please be informed that the Japanese Immigration Bureau has extended the expiration date of Certificate of Eligibilities (CoE) for another 90 days due to the COVID-19. So, all CoEs will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue rather than the typical three month validity.

Please note that if the assignee applies for a Japanese entry visa after 3 months, the sponsoring company in Japan must issue a letter that the assignee, and his accompanying dependents, must submit to the Japanese consulate along with the typical visa documents.
