In June 2010, the Comisión Nacional de la Competencia ('CNC') was informed about the existence of an agreement between Anigp-tv and UPIFC Sindicat de la Imatge to, inter alia, negotiate a minimum price list in relation to services provided by press photographers.

Following a preliminary confidential investigation, on 1 December 2010 the Investigations Division of the CNC decided to commence disciplinary proceedings against Anigp-tv and UPIFC Sindicat de la Imatge for suspected restrictive practices prohibited by Article 1 of Law 15/2007 of 3 July 2007 on the Defence of Competition. The alleged practices involve agreements and collective recommendations to fix a national minimum price for press photography services.

The commencement of these proceedings does not prejudge the final outcome of the investigations. The CNC has a maximum term of 18 months to investigate this case and issue a decision.
