For the 2nd year running, Labuan IBFC is delighted to have won the best Asian Domicile at the recent Asia Captive Review Awards 2019. We were also voted Captive Insurance Jurisdiction of the Year at the China Offshore Awards, reinforcing our leadership in the Asian captive space.
China continues to be a focus, with our participation in China Insurance Rendezvous, China Offshore Summit, a masterclass in Shanghai, joining the delegation spearheaded by the Malaysian China Business Council in Henan, and finally a joint sharing session with Maycham China in Beijing.
This momentum is expected to continue with the signing of a MoU with China Construction Bank Labuan, to further our outreach efforts in China. Personally, I am also honoured to be invited to speak at the Turkish Capital Markets Summit 2019 in Istanbul.
Am also excited to invite you to Connecting Digital Ecosystems Asia 2019 (CoDE Asia 2019) on 12 December. This event will feature a line-up of regional industry experts, all discussing the digital ecosystems in Asia, present and future. Don't miss this chance to listen and be part of the discussions!
