May 19, 2017 – Skilled workers were again favoured in the British Columbia immigration office's latest BC PNP draw, conducted on May 10, 2017.

Of the total 364 invitations to apply issued, 192 of them went to skilled workers under both B.C.'s Canada Express Entry and provincial-only categories.

Following a shift towards international graduates at the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017, the province is now redressing the balance.

There were still 125 invites for graduates under the latest B.C. draw, while 47 invites went to entry level and semi-skilled workers.
