December 19th, 2016 – On Friday December 16th, the Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 1,936 to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada through Express Entry. This number is up from the last round on November 30, 2016, where only members of the Provincial Nominee Class were selected. This is the second Express Entry draw under the new point distribution and the number of invitations remains high. We hope to see this trend continue. The lowest qualifying score  was 497 which also allowed for more candidates to be accepted.
