Chocolate maker Hershey Canada Inc. has pleaded guilty to fixing chocolate prices and was fined $4 million.

Hershey received lenient treatment in return for cooperating with the Competition Bureau inquiry and prosecutions against Nestlé, Mars and ITWAL.

Hershey's brands include Hershey chocolate bars, OhHenry!, Skor, Reese, Twizzlers, Glossettes, and Chipits.

Hershey's guilty plea comes less than two weeks after criminal charges were laid against Nestlé, Mars, and ITWAL for allegedly fixing chocolate prices (see article).
