The EU Trade Secret Directive 2016/943 ("TSD") had to
be transposed into national laws by 8 June 2018 with the aim of
harmonising the protection of trade secrets throughout the EU.
While we reported about the TSD in previous editions of the
roadmap, it is now time to sum up what national courts in
"Schoenherr jurisdictions" have dealt with and ruled so
far. Unsurprisingly, many decisions concerned the new definition of
trade secrets and the protection of trade secrets in court
proceedings. Here is an overview of the most important
