Judicial orders to hear expert evidence concurrently are not new, however the manner in which such 'hot-tubs' are run varies greatly from Court to Court.

In this article, John Temple-Cole from our Sydney office together with Samatha Farthing from our Melbourne office reflect on the experiences of six KordaMentha Forensic Partners in giving evidence in a 'hot-tub' scenario. We also assess these experiences in light of judicial views on the benefits and outline the practical challenges of hearing this form of expert evidence.
