The quality, strength and stability of Amsterdam's market is evident in its participation in Eurolist - a pan-European listing facility set up by the Federation of European Stock Exchanges.

Out of the 60 plus companies across Europe that qualify for Eurolist and have already decided to join, nearly a third are Dutch. Companies must be listed on at least three European stock exchanges, have a market capitalisation of Ecu 1 billion and annual equity stock market transaction volumes of Ecu 250 million. The Federation seeks to enhance co-operation between its members - the 15 exchanges of EU members plus those of Norway and Switzerland. Eurolist will allow companies to use standard procedures and documents and pay a single fee for all the listings throughout the Union.
