February 2021 – Kinstellar is pleased to announce that it has further strengthened its Corporate/M&A practice in Ukraine with the appointment of Ihor Kitela as Of Counsel at the firm's Kyiv office.
Ihor Kitela has over 15 years of experience assisting multinational and local companies from various industry sectors. His primary focus is on corporate and commercial law, M&A and corporate governance; he also advises on tax, litigation, employment, and real estate matters.
Prior to joining Kinstellar, Ihor was part of Tier-1 corporate/M&A practices in Ukraine within major international law firms and provided comprehensive legal support to international companies as in-house legal counsel. As a member of the Corporate Governance and Shareholders' Rights Task Force under the Securities and Stock Market State Commission of Ukraine, Ihor took active part in drafting and developing the first corporate governance principles of Ukraine, as well as numerous regulations and policies.
Ihor earned an LL.M. degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law (Bloomington, USA) and a Diploma of Specialist in Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. He speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.
