MEXICO CITY (August 10, 2023) – Holland & Knight represented Okila S.A. de C.V. in the sale of its capital stock to Grupo TRACSA, an authorized distributor of Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT). The transaction closed on May 25.
Based in Mexico City, Okila is a leading importer and wholesaler of products and accessories for the welding industry. The acquisition is Grupo TRACSA's first entry into the welding industry.
Grupo TRACSA, headquartered in Guadalajara, Jalisco, is a major provider of equipment and heavy machinery for construction, infrastructure, agriculture and mining.
