Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Mark Wolfson was honored by the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit and the Hillsborough County Bar Association for his career commitment to pro bono service with the Jimmy Kynes Pro Bono Service Award.

This prestigious award recognizes a Hillsborough County attorney who for many years has made significant contributions to ensure legal services are available to persons who otherwise could not afford them. Dedicated to the memory of Jimmy Kynes, a prominent Tampa lawyer devoted to pro bono service, recipients of the award reflect and continue through their efforts Kynes' commitment to making the justice fairer and more accessible to all.

Wolfson is a consistent advocate for and provider of pro bono legal work and is deeply involved with his Tampa community. Frequently recognized for his dedication to pro bono service, he takes a special interest in guardianship and guardianship advocacy cases. As pro bono chair of Foley's Tampa office, a role he has held for nearly seven years, he has led a marked increase in engagement with pro bono work, helping to further Foley's firm-wide commitment to providing meaningful pro bono opportunities for our attorneys and quality legal services to those who most need our help.

Wolfson received the award at the 2023 Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Service Awards Ceremony on May 11 in Tampa.
