Mr. Luay Abu-Ghazaleh, Deputy Chairman of AGIP, has been selected to chair the Middle East Africa INTA Legislation Analysis Sub-Committee for the 2000-2001 committee year. The role of the INTA Sub-Committee is to review and advise on various legislation throughout the region. INTA members are also able to express their IP concerns to the Sub Committee who, should it be necessary, will present their members views to the relevant local governments. The Sub Committee also acts as an information resource for INTA members in regards to new trademark legislation issued by local governments.
