We are pleased to present our latest Monthly TCPA Digest, providing insights and news related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). In the past month, the FCC has continued to signal its intention to aggressively pursue illegal robocalling, Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel circulated proposed rules that would require mobile wireless providers to block illegal text messages, and on October 21, the FCC's Enforcement Bureau issued letters to three additional network providers demanding they "immediately cease originating illegal robocall campaigns on their networks."

We also report on the debut of the FCC's Reassigned Numbers Database (RND), which went live on November 1. To help protect themselves from TCPA liability, callers should establish protocols for checking their information against the database.
