The SEC will exempt persons affected by Hurricane Michael from certain requirements of the Exchange Act and Investment Company Act. For the period from October 10, 2018 through November 21, 2018, all reports, schedules or forms subject to the relief can be filed by November 23, 2018.

The SEC also adopted interim final temporary rules for issuers impacted by Hurricane Michael. The temporary rules, which are effective from the date of publication in the Federal Register through November 23, 2018, extend the filing deadlines for certain reports and forms due pursuant to Regulation Crowdfunding and Regulation A.
